Great Pencil
Love the pencil, my only concern is replacement erasers as they are not a standard size.

High Quality Great Product
Only drawback is that the leads that comes with it are too easy to break.

High-quality build, but hefty in brass
In brass, this is a beast of a pencil. The craftsmanship and tolerances are quality. The lateral grooves provide a great grip, and the pencil feels balanced in the hand. The patina on the brass is very cool to watch develop. Mine is currently turning a yellow green. Of the two cons I have on this, one I knew of and still purchased-the weight. Brass is heavy, and I knew this pen would not be a featherweight. I have other brass pens, so I am used to some weight in my hand. Be mindful that you will notice this in your front pocket. The other con is the provided erasers go rather fast. Perhaps I just make too many mistakes.

This pencil rocks! Matches Slider Pens
I love this pencil. It is a perfect match for the TT Slider Pen. I have both in Copper. No need for anything else . . .

I don't have much use on this yet. It hasn't even started to patina yet, so take this as pretty much a first impression. I got the copper version, it plenty hefty, definitely a solid feel to it. Fit and finish are good. I had a hard time finding the seam to unscrew the tip. I assume the top comes off but I have not been able to get it loose yet, so I don't know if you can replace or repair the clip if you have problems with it. Extending the lead feels a little sticky. I am not sure if that is the Schmidt insert, the pen body or both. I am hoping it will wear in with use but it's not bad in any case. I bought this to go with a copper slider pen and I have to say, they make a nice pair.

I am no mechanical pencil geek, so pardon me over not knowing proper verbiage. I got a 0.7 green. I would prefer it machined smooth instead of the ridged texture. the feed mechanism scrapes the ridging inside and feels very gross, like nails on chalkboard gross. For this -1 star. Also, the lead provided frequently snaps inside the advancement tube. just from picking up and putting down the pencil on my desk. Not sure if that's a fault of the mechanism or fragile HB lead. Not fair to dock the rating for this as i do not believe it's a fault of the machining. Question: Is the pocket clip removable? I haven't been able to unscrew the end with the eraser with my fingers.

I am disappointed in this pencil - it’s too heavy! Especially with the .5 lead which I chose. Lead breaks too easily and I will not be using this pencil much at all.

I didn’t need this pen. But when I have the chance to own and use a pretty hefty, well-built and designed, handcrafted instrument, I just cannot help myself. I really enjoy using this pencil (0.5mm) and while it isn't necessary, it is one of those small things that makes the work day a bit more enjoyable.
