Is F12 the ( FN ) key + ( =+ ) key?
You can use QMK firmware to make the function buttons wherever you want them to be
So is there no F# keys by default on any level?
I own a Tada, and I moved mine to where works for me, but if I remember correctly I think by default it comes on the top row (number row) and follows the numbers if you press the fn key and has the f11 and f12 located on the (-) and (=) keys respectfully.
Do you like the keyboard? Compared to your other boards? Does the shift button on the right side seem too small?
I think that it's a great keyboard, I personally use the left shift so I haven't had any issues with the right shift being too small. The only problem with the small right shift is that it can be just a little more difficult to find keycap sets that fit the board, but other than that it is a wonderful board. I got the aluminum case and it is quite hefty, but I don't mind it, no pinging or anything like that. I highly recommend it.
personally, i prefer the hefty-ness. makes it feel expensive. arrow keys too small?
I agree, the arrow keys are regular size arrow keys, and the stock keys that come with the Tada are really stellar. The arrow keys might seem like they are in a weird position or area of the board, but it actually feels really natural.
You can customize the keys however you see fit
fully programmable. awesome
