Just curious... what does the coating do wrong on the keys? I've never seen/touched a set of these in person.

I've heard it gives a sticky feeling to the keys, along with the attribute of picking up the colors of sleeve rubbing and such chaffing which gives them a discoloration.

It gives the keys a sticky feeling, something similar to that feeling to a very used game controller that has not been cleaned and it makes the keycaps feel more smooth, not the grainy texture that you normally have with PBT caps.
Guide on how to remove it, which I am currently in the process doing for mine I bought a few weeks ago. http://imgur.com/a/FodAg

The keys have a sticky texture to them, it almost feels like nearly dried paint. The biggest issue I have with the keys and the coating is the coating has a greater tendency to pick up dirt/discoloration.

I thought this set didn't have the nanobiosis coating?
