Alright everyone, I've followed up with the vendor and they confirmed that this set we shipped don't have the coating on it.
They said there might be some confusion because they used their pre-existing packaging, which states the coating is on the keycaps. But rest assured these are as advertised!
Yes I am guessing theyjust didn't bother to redesign the packaging to match this specific order, which is understandable.
Speaking of which, did anyone elses set include a strange purple rubbery textured keycap? :)
I got a single rubbery blue "E" key. I like it, but I'm not sure why it was included... is there whole set for them?
Mine had a kind of > on it, and it was just a single one :)
@SirCthulhu Tai-Hao always includes one random rubberized key!
they look and feel coated, are you sure?
I got that one too. It has no place - it looks like a random extra?
