Beautiful Caps!
I've really enjoyed these caps! They're not too pricey, and they give a good vibe to your battle station. If you like the colors, you should buy these!

Great on the magicforce64
Got these for my wife's magicforce 64. She likes them a lot. They have a nicely tactile gritty surface (if you're into that kind of thing), and they seem pretty sturdy. Only issue I ran into was that the spacebar was pretty warped. I heated it up a little with a hair dryer and put it on the keyboard and it seems to work okay now.

Low quality. Second Tai-Hao set I bought, just as bad as the first.
Pros: Nice colors. Good amount of extra keys for non-standard layouts Cons: Badly warped spacebar (couldn't fix it by heating it in steaming hot water, then taping it onto a flat surface and letting it cool overnight). Thin keycap walls. Inconsistent wall thickness between keycaps (and even between different walls of the same keycap). Noticeable light bleed around the transparent legends on the pink and magenta rows. I bought the Tai-Hao sunshine set off mechanicalkeyboards (dot) com, and it has the exact same issues (minus the light bleed since the Sunshine set isn't backlit). They sent me a replacement for the warped spacebar in that set, and the replacement was warped just as badly. Such a waste of money, both of them. Swearing off Tai-Hao from now on. I seriously hope they get their act together. P.S. The attached photo is the spacebar keycap even after doing everything I could to straighten it out. It still stuck when I put it on my keyboard.

drying_panI wish I would have given this review more weight before I ordered these. I had many of the same issues.

Light bleed
Look super good in the light or when backlights are turned off, but when the room is even slightly dark there is really ugly light bleed. Love the colors though.

Tai Hao Rainbow Sherbet PBT - Severe Light Bleed
I don't think these are going to work for most people. They did a really poor job in production. If you work in daylight, love bright colors and never need to look at your keys, then maybe you might love the budget price of these. Anybody who doesn't tick all those boxes should look at one of the Skylight Series sets instead. PROS: + Price / Value are good for bright colored keycaps + Shine-through legends are functional + Top rows made from darker colors are better than the lower rows (It's much harder to notice the light bleed / fitment issues on the purple function key row and the burgundy top row) + PBT and double-shot, better than you generally expect from budget keycaps CONS: - Severe light bleed, especially on the lighter colored bottom 4 rows (you can see the bands inside the keycaps on the bottom 2 rows!) - Inconsistent legend thickness, with the arrow keys being much thinner for example than most of the letters - Spacebar had an issue fitting on several standard boards, including the Drop ENTR (too tall perhaps with some warping) - The listing mentions a "luxury gift box;" mine came in a cardboard box I would expect in a dollar store. Maybe my standards are too high, but that seems like false advertising to me. - Misleading render photos CONCLUSION:  On the one hand, if you don't need to use backlighting on your keyboard the colors are pretty nice on this set. That's especially true for a PBT keycap set with shine-through double-shot legends, which is a combination that is tough to find at a budget price. But the legends are made to be used with backlighting. Without backlighting they are not really that readable.   On the other hand, if you need the backlighting because you are working in a dark area, the light bleed almost makes these a non-starter. Even if you don't notice it on day 1, you will notice it more and more with every day of use. In my opinion, there are several alternatives that are all superior in that one aspect.   I still gave them an extra star for the colors and the PBT construction that will be a nice value for anybody on a severe budget. It's a shame. I loved the colors. I even could have learned to accept having to use a different space bar. But the light bleed issue is just too bad.
