From Takamine’s G70 series of acoustic-electric guitars with solid-top construction and upgraded electronics, the GN71CE is a mighty machine. Its jumbo body features a spruce top and flame maple back and sides for big, meaty chords with plenty of volume and detail. The slim mahogany neck and 12-inch bound rosewood fingerboard offer great playability, while the abalone rosette and “reversed mountain” inlay at the 12th fret create an elegant aesthetic. For versatility, the onboard Takamine TK-40D preamp system is complete with a built-in tuner, three-band EQ and gain controls, mid-contour switch, notch filter, and EQ bypass switch.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of finishes between Brown Sunburst and Natural. This drop is for new B-Stock instruments with the original box and paperwork. ESP has very stringent quality control procedures, and a tiny imperfection in the finish can qualify a guitar for B-Stock. These guitars may have minor cosmetic imperfections which will not affect playability. This drop is limited to 21 units in Natural, 2 units in Brown Sunburst, and will only ship to the US and Canada.
