I received mine yesterday. nice guitar for the price, but the smell of the varnish or finish is quite strong. and despite what the description says, the turners are not gold, but nickel or whatever they are. silver/chrome colored. need to change that in the description if this drops again

Lucky you. UPS lost mine. Now I'm going to have to deal with support. Disappointing about the tuning keys not being gold colored. Would have made it a bit more classy. I'll probably get mine in a couple of months if my past experiences with support are the norm.

UPS "lost" mine also!! They have opened a lost package investigation.

Mine was last seen in Dallas. I did the lost package thing too. If I were you I'd contact MD support now before the investigation finishes because I doubt UPS is going to try very hard to find it.

Mine was last scanned in Mesquite and did not make it Houston, I have contacted Massdrop support after opening up a UPS investigation and I have been underwhelmed by their attitude which was "since this was delivered, we will, as a one time accommodation, give you the choice of a replacement or a refund but your primary recourse is to file a claim with UPS"... I find this rather odd since 1) UPS never said it had been delivered anywhere but that it is lost, and 2) Massdrop should be insuring the delivery for the amount needed to replace the item in the event it is lost or stolen or damaged. I am awaiting further clarification from Massdrop support which I will share. I have been a very good customer for Massdrop and I have had to use their support once before for a smaller item and they were very responsive. This response shakes my confidence.

With 2 lost shipments someone didn't pack it right or did not attach the shipping label securely. If you opt for a replacement make sure you mention the drop included a hard case. Otherwise you will probably just get the guitar. I'd even include the model of the guitar in the correspondence so they don't send you a cheaper model. I would still love to get this guitar but I might just get a refund rather then get screwed.

Just got notice that UPS has found my package and is returning it to Massdrop. Massdrop has given me the option of a refund or having a new package shipped from their warehouse. I chose to have a new package shipped. I'll keep the site updated. This has been a long delay and some confusion between me and Massdrop in our communiques but all in all, they are coming through as promised.

Mine was lost by UPS, too. Can't say that Massdrop has been particularly communicative about the problem, despite my attempts to find out where we are with a replacement, etc.
