Any update on the shipping date for this? My order says estimated ship date is today (August 16th), but I don't see any change in status or email confirmation of shipping.

brockrMine arrived the day after I posted the above (and my shipping notification a couple of days later!). I was really enjoying the lens, but unfortunately on day 5 it stopped focusing--it won't focus to infinity, or anywhere near it, in automatic or manual mode; it only focuses at very short distances. I guess I'll try to get it replaced or repaired now.
