Is this a brand new lens, and has anyone received their order from this specific drop? If so let me know your thoughts..

JIgzThis is a barnd new lens with 6 year Tamron US warranty. and worth every penny.

ShsedghiThank you - appreciate the response. How did you go about "securing" said warranty if you don't mind me asking. It doesn't seem like Drop is being completely transparent on that. Any suggestions would also be appreciated.

JIgzThe box had 6 year warranty logo on it. Inside the box with the guid was a piece of paper with a serial # on it. Went to Tamron US registration site entered my info and entered the serial # (which site was saying should be on the lens itself, it was not). It was verified through the info page. Then I uploaded the PDF version of the DROP receipt, and submitted the warranty on Friday. I received an email immediately that we will inform you. Today (two business days) I received the warranty confirmation.
