Product Description
Available in a range of bright colors, along with classic black, the Tanchjim Cora IEM is small, lightweight, and comfortable to wear for extended listening sessions. It uses a single dynamic driver with a carbon diaphragm and a custom anti-seismic silicone rubber layer, which reduces any unnecessary vibrations of the sound cavity generated by the driver Read More
JSBusInitial impressions compared to my regular iems which are more than 3x the price (with new cables), it sounds slightly cheap but decent enough. Still burning in, will try some tip rolling too before comparing it with my other iems
Edit: With the spiraldot tips and a bit more burn in (not clear if it really helps), it no longer sounds cheapish. I quite enjoy it actually
The JVC-FX40 was one of my first earphones ever. It had a carbon nanotube driver as well, and even the shape is somewhat similar. The treble on that model was too hot for my tastes, even after significant change from burn in (one of the rare ones that actually do). Hopefully this one fares better, I really like the twist done on the colours which deviate from the "tech-feel" norm
Edit: The diaphragm on this might not be CNT, it's merely stated to be carbon. I apologise for any confusion. Also, from the reviews it seems like the concern would more likely be a lack of treble than too much of it
