This looks well made but it's not worth $1000. Even at almost $400 it's not worth it to me. It only has 160 mw at 32 ohm. That's not enough to power any large size headphone with authority. I bet it sounds nice with iems though. Who would get this over the mojo. I got my mojo new for $460. $300, tops for this
I have the XDuoo XD-05, that I paid 200$. And it seems it's a much greater value than this one ! (500mW output power, DSD up to 11.2 MHz...)
I'v been considering getting the TEAC HA-P5, so I’ve been doing a little research, and noticed your post. I think it’s important to point out that it's 160 mW at 32 ohms per channel, not 160 mW at 32 ohms’ total power output. In others words, its total power output is 320 mW at 32 ohms.
Would like to know where you purchased that mojo for $460....
I'm in the US and got one for that price from Amazon.co.uk. The exchange rate is very favorable right now.
