Breathe new life into your CD collection with the PD-501 CD Player from TEAC. Delivering high-resolution CD playback without the need for a PC connection, this player comes equipped with 5.6MHz DSD file native playback and up to 24bit/192kHz PCM on recordable DVD discs. It features a unique VACS (Vibration Acoustic Control Structure) to control vibrations and improve sound quality. Plus, it has separate power supplies for analog and digital sections to help prevent digital noise. At the center of this player is a celebrated Cirrus Logic CS4398 that achieves 120dB of dynamic range and uses un-damped volume control and Mismatch Shaping Technology to eliminate distortion from capacitor mismatching. Made with aluminum paneling, a steel chassis, and simple controls, this space-efficient player is both sturdy and easy to use.
