no, clears are tactile (non clicky) like browns but even more feel-able. This is what I want to know too!

actually you are wrong pink he was asking about GATERON clears not cherry clears. GATERON clears are 35 gram linear. gateron browns are a sort of in between of cherry browns and cherry clears. they are about the same weight as cherry browns but their bump is more distinct like the cherry clears.

From the Gateron Switch drop:
Blacks - 50g Linear Blues - 55g Clicky Browns - 45g Tactile Clears - 35g Linear Greens - 80g Clicky Reds - 45g Linear Yellows - 50g Linear
So the Browns are the same as MX Browns (45g) can't find a review that says they are more tactile than MX, or that they are near the sensation of MX clears. But you are correct that I was mistaken about Gateron Clears. Thanks for that. Guess I'll have to stick with Cherry for now...

due to differences in the plastics used gateron stems feel a lot smother then cherry ones. notice i said they are the same weight as the cherrys brown so i was still correct. if you read many of the reviews out there you will be able to see what i am talking about concerning the feel. the increased smoothness of the stems for gaterons makes that bump that much easier to feel compared to cherrys. also if you want a heavier gateron tactile you can either get zilos (spelling?) or as i said before you can grab the switches and pop out the springs with different springs.
