Seems a glow in the dark patch would make it easier to shoot the person wearing it--especially if it was night-time and the person wearing it was the enemy (or at least perceived to be the enemy)? Of course, they needn't actually be anyone's enemy--you might just want to shoot them because they were dumb enough to spend thirty-bucks on this drop. But that wouldn't be Moral, would it? I wonder if there's a patch for that?

RayFAh yes, of course the morale patches is only for combat personnel use and in no way can it be used as decoration for things that has a velcro panel, such as wallets, pouches, sling bags, backpacks and so on. /s

The image in the email notification showed a D&D logo, so I was excited to grab a set of these. Unfortunately, the D&D logo doesn't seem to be available. Not sure if I'll be getting anything from this.

I hate to post this here, but I wanted to make sure people knew that we have updated the Game of Thrones Whitewalker image. The update somehow did not get into the final changes before the drop went live, and I am not sure if MD will be able to change a live drop. Here is the new image:

The velcro loop patch on my bag is 2" x 2". How difficult would it be to cut these patches down to that size? Would I need any special tools?

pelicularitiesYou can cut them, but depending upon the symbol you may cut some off. It would leave a rough edge as well, I wouldn't recommend it. But as suggested, a 2" square patch of Velcro will hold these patches just fine. Also, Embrite is not a flexible material in the way that it is currently manufactured. These are rigid patches.

How easy would it be to paint/draw a pattern on the blank patches? Are there any mediums you recommend or advise against due to how they stick to or interact with Embrite™?

Sajen006We have actually never tried applying anything directly to the surface. It is pretty smooth, so I am not sure how well something would stick (such as vinyl). But if you were to apply something like a sticker with a strong adhesive, that may work. Sorry I cannot give you any more info, we just never tried it so I couldn't tell you how well it would work or how long it might hold up. The current symbols are laser engraved and filled, so they hold up very well

Does “up to 12 hours” correspond to a specific “half-life” or time constant of brightness decay for these particular Embrite mixes? Is green brighter than blue, as with most luminescent materials?
