Or you could buy a mini-tape measure that is 13 times longer (you know, for measuring 2 wall studs at a time) at 1/8 the price. https://www.amazon.com/Braceus-Retractable-Measure-Pocket-Measuring/dp/B07B5YKFBT/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=mini+tape+measure&qid=1556138110&refinements=p_n_size_browse-bin%3A553286&rnid=2257983011&s=hi&sr=1-1 But not as cool looking.

Truck drivers (any vehicle owner, but especially truck drivers) can use them to measure tire tread depth, instead of using a penny.

Amazon is a better deal for 1-2 of these if less than 60 people pledge.
At the 60 participant level, the total price shipped to the US is about a dollar less than Amazon's total price shipped. A matching set of one inchworm and one centipede requires two separate orders AFAICT, and therefore two shipping charges.

CurbyNot at all, if you hit join drop you'll notice that just underneath the selection box, there is a button to 'add another order', and you can use that to put the other version in the same transaction. Edit- I just saw that your comment is a year and a half old, and Massdrop has updated their site a few times since then. So my comment is probably quite irrelevant at this point.

Do I need this? No. Do I want this? Yes. Should I buy this? No. Will I buy this? Maybe.

CHICKENGODThis is one of the neatest things that I have absolutely no use for.
CHICKENGODI have one and can confirm I really wanted it, didn't need it, and haven't used it.
Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.

This is a cool, tooled to perfection, item. But like someone stated, it appears to be a solution looking for a problem. And, like someone else also stated, you can 'score' almost anything and have a ruler on hand, e.g., use a permanent marker on a keychain. So, I will pass on this one.

I would like to see one with both cm and inch markings on each half side of the stick.

It's a titanium Kubaton disguised as a ruler...

I think I might pick up one of each. I've been looking to get one for a while and now that I'm a drafting design major in college I think it could be useful for roughly estimating things I'm measuring when I'm not lugging around my micrometer and calipers
