not sure I believe the whole "controlled substance" line. I have purchased no less than 5 watches with tritium vials in them. Also purchased tritium night sights of various types. Maybe the volume needed to fill the fob is the issue, but seems like a cop out in selling a unfinished product.

lawnarjaxA cop out? It’s a product designed to house another product. Is it a ‘cop out’ when buying a bare bones mechanical keyboard? Are you upset when you buy a car and find out the cupholders don’t actually include cups?

lawnarjaxTritium watches and night sights are different. If you read the restrictions published by the NRC, selling bare vials installed in a product which is considered "frivolous use" (the NRC term) is not legal. Companies which sell the items you mention have the necessary license to sell those types of qualified products. We cannot obtain such a license for our products. Rowdy2026Those are terrible comparisons. It is not illegal to sell cups or keyboard keys in the US. I think it is fine for the seller to make and sell this, but I would not buy it. Too bad TEC won't/can't get a license to be all in. Probably sell more product since it is a neat idea.
