I have a mini pry bar keychain made of STEEL that came with a Civivi folder as a promo. Its about 3" long and probably more useful than a soft titanium pry bar.

While Ti is stronger by weight than steel, it is less dense and not as strong by volume. when compared to hardened steel the difference is potential chipping and deforming with Ti and it will mar up quickly as well. Drop a steel folder on the ground and drop a titanium folder on the ground and see which one deforms first. While a Ti prybar will work to some degree for lighter stuff steel is better for a prybar application.

no it isn't. Ti is strong given it's weight/density. with the same amount of steel vs the same amount of Ti, the steel is by far stronger.

I might be mistaken but I do not think titanium is good for this application. Trying to pry anything with this is likely to end in disappointment.

The purpose of this thing is to look cool sitting on an unused $80 hank next to a bunch of other pristine titanium stuff that won't all fit in anyone's pockets for a "My EDC" pic for the Gram.

My knives with titanium scales have little screw-in inserts of a much harder material to sit against the steel blade. What small, weak object could I pry open with this? Like Bilbo, I am quite flummoxed. And not only by the purpose of this weird thingee, but by those who are purchasing it.

That's a pry bar. A steel pry bar. 18+" and about 10 pounds. I have one. It has a perfect record.

98 sold, I would love to hear from people buying this, all the comments are detractors. What is the purpose of this? Ths picture shows someone scraping lumber? I thought maybe this might be a key part of a physical penetration testers toolchest, but it's too thick to pry open a lock, or slip through automatic doors to activate the motion sensor that opens exit doors

TigerUKIt is somewhere jewelry and figurine collecting for a certain type of guy. It isn't much of a functional tool - anything it can do can be done better with something much cheaper. Breakin crews/pentesters are more likely to carry keyrings, delivery uniforms and clipboards or industrial PDAs .

“... the Ti-Pry prevails” And, may I add, “The Dude Abides”.
55 people have tiny doors that need to be pried with a toothpick size prybar.

PRYbar?! How much leverage can you get from less than 4 inches? Not enough to open my wallet!

I feel like the number of people that would hurt themselves on the glass breaker when reaching into their pocket would be quite high....myself being one of them.
