Trying to follow the thread, basically you need the pellet kit to make the inner glowing thing? What's this talk of tritium vials?

SlowcountryIt comes with a glow in the dark pellet, but if you'd like to swap it out for a tritium vial, you should add on the pellet kit.

andyAnd the purpose of a tritium vial is that they glow for 12 years but don't need to be exposed to light to do so. However they are dimmer than the glow in the dark pellet that comes with the keychain. So it depends on how you are going to use it.
