I think I'll just save $19 dollars and keep a bill (US) in my wallet. Seeing as it's VERY close to 6x2.5 you can do multiple combinations of folds to get pretty accurate measurements. It is a nifty piece of machining though.

Now I wonder what would have happened if you HAD bought one. I suspect that an inventive and resourceful individual would find some novel and interesting use for such things.
