Has anyone else noticed how freaking loud the rotor is? When you shake the watch, it makes a strange tinny noise like a toy car. It makes it feel strangely delicate. I'm no stranger to automatics, but I've never heard a rotor like that.

selfbuiltI have read this movement (Miyota 82XX) to be pretty noise compared to some ETAs. Mine does the same. I like it

niketplaI have another watch with Miyota 8215 (essentially the same movement) and it's very quiet. I mean dead quiet, I cannot even hear it ticking pushed rghit up to the ear, the rotor is clinking a bit but it's expected with automatics. It's also pretty accurate up to +10 seconds a day.

niketplaThe rotor should clink a bit when rotating, but it's not a loud sound and only can be heard in a very quiet environment. If you could hear it regularly while wearing the watch then it is definitely not normal.
