Love this coffee maker
This thing makes coffee that tastes like pour over. I'm pretty obsessed with how much faster it is than actually making pour over and in larger easier quantities.

Pleasing aesthetic and makes a great cup of coffee
I've had my eye on this for a long time and I'm very happy I pulled the trigger on it. I've been using a chemex for 3-4 years and was growing tired of the long process to make a cup of coffee. I've had the moccamaster for a few weeks now and am loving it thus far. I love the looks of it and it makes a damn good cup of coffee.

Perfect brewing machine!
TECHNIVORM MOCCAMASTER KB is perfect for home use. Brews quickly and perfect brew each time. I tried steel #4 filter and works fine too. Builtin in heater to keep the pot hot, auto-turn off, manual drop-stop knob (though automatic would have been better) - just the features you need to have a long lasting machine. Since there is not much electronics or moving parts, it is easy to maintain. Also easier to clean.
I have used 2 Moccamasters in the past. One in the office (Technivorm Moccamaster 59616 KBG) which works like a tank. Other one at home (Technivorm Moccamaster Cup One Coffee Brewer), which died in a year. Brew opening was small and clogged up easily leading to overflow. Except this model, all the other ones from Technivorm are great.

Aesthetic, and makes a great cup of coffee
It's unfortunate to hear that some people's machines are not working on arrival. That blows! That being said at least the Moccamaster comes with an amazing manufacturer's warranty.
It's a great coffee machine, and makes some damn good coffee. The water sprout does a great job of distributing water evenly and the heating plate is very hot which is great for keeping the coffee warm. Great purchase.

Great Coffee, very smooth and seems well made
I have enjoyed this a lot so far. Its a great cup of coffee. I don't have a lot of expensive coffeemakers to compare it to, but I bought this as a product to keep for a long time (too many problems with current coffeemakers on the market) and it was a great price on here.

Do not buy, dead on arrival
Completely dead on arrival, heating elements do not turn on.
Drop support automated response says they won't even respond for 5-7 business days.
Save yourself the hassle, spend the few more $ and buy something different from somewhere else, this isn't worth it.

Incredible coffee machine
Made my first few batches of coffee using this machine. Fantastically well made, easy to use, simple and sleek design, and a great tasting cup every time. Comes with a 5 year guarantee, and parts are easily replaceable. Highly recommended.

Don't buy - did not work
The Moccamaster didn't work out of the box. I've bought from Drop previously and had it work out great but this one was a miss. I would say avoid this and either buy in store or go with a different coffeemaker altogether so you aren't out 1-2 months of time waiting.
