Cool but please the 220-240 volt version for an interesting price and shipped from the Netherlands please.
I live in the Netherlands, not interested in paying transport, taxes and import fees. No idea what this will cost on Drop.
These are quite affordable in the Netherlands. You could get them cheaper with coupons of Douwe Egberts coffee for years. My parents had these machines 30 years ago. The machines did not change much. A machine with two plates exists too. You can have one for coffee and then keep your tea hot on the other plate.
I've had the moccamaster with thermal carafe for a couple years now. It's well worth the purchase. I used to have a french press or pour over every morning, but this replaces it for me. Best coffee I've ever had.
I have had the Bonivita 5 cup for years now and have no complaints. I paid $69 with Massdrop, before they "dropped the Mass". So I guess I find myself wondering if my Guatemalan Antigua covfefe will taste $160.00 better.
If only the grounds looked like that after brewing.. unfortunately nearly half aren't even touched by water. Still tasted great, best ever from a drip machine. However, I'm not paying $300 (Amazon purchase) for a coffee maker that I have to babysit to ensure all of the grounds are touched.. so I returned. Aeropress makes equally great coffee and takes less babysitting. Machines substantially less costly (and less attractive) make only slightly lesser quality coffee.. Bonavita for one.
Do it, you won't regret it! The hotplate has a separate heater and it doesn't burn the coffee. It also has a low and a high heat switch if you're worried about it, and an auto off after 100 mins. At first I always had it on low, but I've since switched it to high always with no repercussions.
Chenson722That would work great, but my coffee maker is in my kitchen and I always take the thermal carafe with me to my office. I wonder if it would be enough of an upgrade from my Capresso Coffee Team to be worth pouring from the glass carafe into a thermal.
