Got mine today. The orange minute marker on the left subdial is missaligned by two minutes. There's also something stuck between the glass and inner side of the bezel between 12 and 1 o'clock position which I could only describe as a 2 millimeters long black hair/lash, that and couple of specks of dirt and one larger smudge at 3 o'clock. Don't get me wrong, this is really a nice watch and I was looking forward to wearing it, but I'd expect a bit more QA(or maybe just some basic cleanliness during assembly) from a watch priced at 160$(and 305$ on Technes official webshop). Now who am I supposed to contact to have this fixed, Massdrop or Techne?
SoftcoreAny issues with your order should always go through us - you can contact support at massdrop.com/support. Send them a note and they'll help you out.
IanAndersonI have been sending notes for help. Not much luck so far. It takes days for anyone to respond to the web form and then my effort to respond on the path forward appears to be going into a black hole. I got an annoying note this afternoon that they were cancelling my support request since I hadn't responded on the path forward. UGH! The support communications approach could use some improvement.
SoftcoreI noticed the same thing today, i have a hair/dust/scratch at the 5 sec marker on the outer dial. I love this watch but they are making it difficult to make me wear it since i keep looking at the defects. I have a support request going on with Techne directly now, im hoping they will replace it.
DrPolandHi @DrPoland - see my comment above, please; all support tickets should go through us to make the process easier for you (and everyone else). You can get in touch at massdrop.com/support.
IanAndersonIm going through Techne since Massdrop only gave me the choice of refund, meaning i would have to pay for shipping back to US, a cost which would equal about half the watch worth from Europe.
