Very interested in these. I've been enjoying what Tecsee has been releasing. But I can't buy them all lol. As a correction, these all use the Tecsee new HPE housing material (pointing this out was the original point of my comment and I just F***ed it up), which all I knew about it up to tell now is very similar to UHMWPE. In fact, I have seen many people calling these full UHMWPE switches. I knew this but somehow completely mixed it up when typing this. I have only been told that it is "upgraded UHMWPE" and I'm curious to get it in and see if it's better or just different. I assume the difference is mainly to prevent the shrinking of UHMWPE. The moulds also should be the exact same as the moulds they have been using for the Carrot and Purple panda and other switches housings. Can anyone confirm if they have other housing moulds or if all their switches use the same ones? I have been looking to get in "Tecsee Pudding Switches" since I first saw Creameryco tease them in November 2021. But their prototypes were a different colour and they are now recolouring them to a community-voted colour. No idea what the stem length is of them so I'm not sure which one of these is closest. The Pistachios linears I think are the first Tecsee switch to use this material but they were all HPE (like the creamery-co ones). So I'm very curious why these would release with UHMWPE stems instead of HPE stems, maybe these do have HPE stems and it was a communication mix-up? OR maybe just old stem stock? But it does seem the Pistachios(65g spring), Creameryco and a couple of others coming soon are the same switches just recolours of the Pudding Switch. But these are possibly different so long as the Stars UHMWPE stem material is correct. The "Blue Sky Cloud Tactile" could just be a Purple Panda Redesign. Same moulds and same stem(not idea if it's changed at all), with a heavier version of the optional springs they include (which is better IMO). So it should be a great switch. So long as the stem is the same, could be different but all signs point to it being the exact same (POM, white, same length). Will have to wait to tell they ship to most likely mind out of the legs are the same. The "Blue Sky Cloud Linear" is different from the well-known Carrot in terms of stem length (unless the listing is wrong) and spring weight. But if it's just a Carrot redesign with a shorter pole I don't see a point, unless it's a lot smoother, which is very possible from the new housing material. Just seems odd to make it have a short stem vs the cloud tactile. The "Star" Switches could be Sapphire and Ruby redesigns. It should use the same housing moulds (if I'm not mistaken most tecsee should). But these should have the newer UHMWPE stems (V2?). But these have a longer stem. The Sapphire and Ruby used a 13mm stem. Just like the "Blue Sky Sun Linear" which should just be a Ruby redesign with maybe the new updated stem or not since same spec stem and colour is the same. So the Star switches seem very interesting, But the Sun I'll pass on, because I prefer the even longer stems. So correct me if I'm wrong but loosely. Blue Sky Cloud Tactile = Improved Purple Panda (smoother purple panda is maybe more accurate) Blue Sky Cloud Linear = New Stem Improved Carrot. (why a shorter stem for the linear?) Blue Sky Sun Linear = New Switch (Ruby/Sapphire Stem?) Blue Sky Star Tactile = Tecsee Pudding with different Stem? Blue Sky Star Linear = Tecsee Pudding with different Stem? But none of these are Tecsee Pudding Switches like the CreameryCo switches and Pistachios. Since they don't have an HPE stem. I think I'll order both tactiles and the star linear. Since the Cloud Tactile could just be an Improved Purple panda which is a great switch. The Star switches are interesting since they have a new stem length and are HPE. But I don't see a reason for me to get the shorter stem Sun linear and if the Sky Linear is similar to the Carrot I'll skip them this time as I didn't really like the carrot switches. Maybe I'll grab them if there are extras. For reference, a normal stem should be about 12.5mm. So all of these are "long stems". These also use the same spring as what is supposed to come in the other Tecsee V2 switches. So the Ruby V2 and Sapphire V2 and ice candy, icegrape, oreo and so on. This seems to be Tecsee's new standard spring in terms of it being dual-stage and 63.5g. compared to the older stainless steel spring from the carrot and PP or the gold progressive spring from the V1 Ruby and Sapphire. (Do note I have seen listings of V2 Ruby and V2 Sapphire with the old progressive) Whichever ones I end up buying I'm very interested in seeing what there like. Pricing is also pretty solid either way. I still want to get a hold of the all HPE Pudding switches. But $0.44USD a switch for the 110 pack is pretty decent. Cheaper than all other Tecsee switches(I think) and with the new HPE material. Too good to be true? Off-topic has anyone used the Tecsee Screw-In Stabs? Edit: Updated completely as it didn't read how it did in my head. Changed things like Should to Could and used improved instead of updated. Edit: The sound demo made by Olivetree of Creamery Co (great vendor got jwicks from them) of the Pudding Switches may be the closest switch to these. But don't take these as exactly what it sounds like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jxmnj_nGQZs

LifelongCabooseOkay, so I just want to dissuade this kinda thing in an already-mucky-part of the hobby, but NEED to address some misinformation in your post... Right off the bat you've made some pretty significant (& "dangerous") incorrect assumptions here; the main one being your statement that the Cloud Tactiles are possibly a Purple Panda re-color, let-alone an update to it at all. Other than the fact that they are both in the "Tactile" category, and have about the same stem length, they don't share any other similarities really. I'm not sure if you're just mixing up your thermoplastics, or not bothering to fact-check (or both), but first of all; these new Blue Sky switches & Purple Pandas don't even share the same MATERIALS as eachother, so already they can't really be compared... - PP's have housings made of PME. Which is just one of Tecsee's own "proprietary" thermoplastic blends. - Blue Sky's on the other hand are made of HPE, Tecsee's newest proprietary material, and is apparently a further-improved recipe/blend-ratio of their "UHMWPE" plastic (which, because if the physical properties of actual 100% UHMWPE & the physical properties of it, this is *actually* most likely just a thermoplastic-blend containing very little UHMWPE relative to the "base"-plastic, like Polycarbonate or some sort of Nylon). HPE is NOT PME, and this is obvious by just looking at the two materials, and the manufacturing leftovers seen on Tecsee's PME switches, where the plastic has little flakes of material in-&-around the housing. The same goes for the rest of your ENTIRE arguments - you are comparing these Blue Sky's, the first batch of switches using their newly-updated UHMWPE replacement, to other switches with TOTALLY DIFFERENT MATERIAL COMBINATIONS, SPRING TYPES+WEIGHTS, AND STEM PROFILES. BUT WRITE THEM OFF AS "RECOLORS"! The next main reason comparing these to Purple Pandas is moot, is for similarly obvious reasons; just compare the specs of these two switches! These don't even have the same spring weight, OR type dude! Pandas have a steel, single-stage, short spring. Blue Sky's have a gold-plated, 2-STAGE, long spring... Also, Pandas have their signature rounded "D"-bump, we have no idea what kind of bump these Blues have, let alone what KIND of tactility they have. We don't even have a force curves to look at and compare yet. Now make the same re-evaluations to the OTHER old switches you compare these to... ------------- You put so much time & effort into making a "well"-thought-out-looking breakdown of these switches, when it's apparent you're missing quite a bit of knowledge on the subject, and even went so far as to make entire assertions about why someone should or shouldn't consider these viable, when they aren't even for the correct reasons at all! THIS is why this bugs me so much, and the hobby is rampant with inexperienced people wanting to be the next ThereminGoat, but without the actual substance to do so. You don't even seem to have VERIFIED half the stuff you said with a quick Google search... I'm not saying your heart isn't in the right place, but this is the Drop comment section... There ARE beginners & inexperienced hobbiests looking for guidance, who WILL make their decision on whether to buy or ignore these switches (legitimately effecting Tecsee in the process...), based off of incorrect assumptions. Leading them to either: miss out on a good switch & supporting innovation, or end up with something totally unlike what they expected. *exhales*

PancakeGoonI just deleted this comment I just wrote here as there is actually no need for it now as I can explain it better. Simply put I messed up. I just mixed up a bunch of things in my head, it wasn't a lack of research or anything just simply mixing shit up. Normally I would go back and reread a few times to make sure what is in my head is being conveyed properly but I just made this comment more so out of haste. I did actually verify everything including actually having the switches I was talking about in hand. But what I typed was really not what I meant to say. After I reread it I pretty quickly knew that I just fully messed up what my point was. So I have updated it to better reflect what I was trying to say. I'm sure you're still going to disagree with some points but it at least now better reflects what I was actually trying to say. So thank you for the comment.

Damn, I don't know if anyone else gets a super early shipment. The estimated ship date is June 17, 2022 PT. Mine was Shipped March 28th and is already in a sack/container on its way. I ended up picking up all but the Sun switch. Edit: And like that they have arrived and they look gorgeous. Very very initial impressions are the housing is pretty tight, and stem wobble is pretty low. They are all pretty smooth but none blew me away. But at the price it's good. The amount of lube is decent and helps with sound and feel. But some felt a bit sticky. The tactile bump is very bold and very high. Reminds me a lot of the Purple panda, but Blue Sky Cloud Tactile with the extra long stem feels really good. The Blue Sky Star Linear has a very soft bottom out, and so does the Blue Sky Star Tactile but not to the same extent. Very very initial impressions. After just feeling them out of the bag, both taciles feel great with the Blue Sky Cloud Tactile feeling super good. Both linear are solid but the Blue Sky Star Linear bottom out is very muted and soft I'm not a huge fan. Blue Sky Sun Linear ill have to buy next time around. But so long as my mind doesn't change after fully testing them I think I'm going to pick up more Blue Sky Cloud Tactile.

Edit: The biggest issue so far is the housing isn't the tightest and is very soft. I was shocked at how easy it was to open up, the plastic is not very stiff. Once it's opened once the housing wobble is bad. Deskeys thicker films are ideal for this but they do somewhat ruin their look. Lube is very very light. A small amount on the legs and stem rails. Very small amount of lube. Smoothness wise there as good as other budget switches like Jwicks and Gateron Pros but those use a lot more lube so that is impressive. These also vary on bottom out feel. All the HPE switches bottom out too soft for me. But the POM stem units are great. Next Drop I'm going to order 2 more 110 packs of the Blue Sky Cloud Tactile. After more time has passed I love the Blue Sky Cloud Tactile so much, they the drop comes back ill grab like 4-8 packs. SO please request this drop so you can get some for your self.

LifelongCabooseWould you recommend cleaning the lube up and relubing? Or are they solid out of the box.
Quick FYI: In the "Style Option" section of the Overview page, the Sun Tactile and Star Linear product photos are swapped. (The ones that appear up-top when clicking which option to purchase are correct.) The Sun is the yellow one, Stars are off-white, Clouds are white.
