Can you use it when powered via USB? Thinking of when the battery inevitably fails, as some of these little speakers won't work when charging.

kittykatmaxI'm interested in the answer to this question also. I have some electronics that can't be used while charging.

ArtSJCIt works! Just tested it, and it has no hissing noise from feedback while plugged in either.

AndrewLekashmanI just received mine today. Quality is pretty good, colour is in order, BUT it does create a hissing feedback when plugged in. That's the exact opposite of what you claimed.
As I primarily planned to use this speaker while it's plugged in, I'm not very pleased by this. Why lie?

KazajiI dont have hissing problems, maybe w/e you have it plugged into is generating excess noise or you have a defective unit.

GreeneagleI've tried 4 usb ports across two different computers, as well as a wall-plug USB adapter. Same faint hissing feedback occurs when the speaker is turned on and plugged into any of those sources.

MarkI played with it some more over the last few days, and:
Plugging it into a charger while it's on, and you've just used it (battery at less than 100%) results in horrible feedback.
Letting it fully charge and then using it, the feedback is reduced greatly but is still audible.
So basically, when it's fully charged and plugged into a power source, the feedback still exists but is not as horrid as my first impression.
There IS a feedback no matter what you do, but it's not as bad as I first thought and it's slightly quieter than other, similar speakers.
I will not be needing any replacements, since this is probably as good as it's going to get. Thank you for stepping up with the offer though.

KazajiSorry if your speaker is giving you problems! When answering the question, I plugged the speaker into my computer in the middle of a song and had no noticeable change in audio quality.
It's possible that I just had a really good speaker, since I only tested this result on one product, but there was no dishonesty, only small sample sizes!
