Great sound, lame quality
They did sound pretty great but the left piece started to die in a couple of months. It still works pretty neat for a one-sided headset I use it for but the left side seems to lose the crossover randomly so it's mostly garbage.

Hooked these up to the BT20S bluetooth adapters, makes for a great bluetooth headphone setup. Great quality & fit on mine, not running into issues that others have been having with build quality.

sound is ok, build is not
It has nice slightly warmish sound and I like it, but after a year, faceplate start to come off and it will brake soon.

Sound quite good, built quality more than bad!
After 1 1/2 year this inear falls in several parts! The coverplate seperates itself from the body. What kind of quality do they sell here at Drop?

Truth tellers........
I have owned my set of Tenhz P4 Pro in ear monitors for 11 months now. It's curious to read negative reviews about the build quality & QC because mine have been rock solid since day 1. In fact, they still look like I just took them out of the box & I've carried them in my pocket, thrown them in various bags & have not babied them in the least. "Curiouser & curiouser……." Anyway, on to the review! These were my first pair of all BA iem's so I really did know what to expect. I received both the Tenhz P4 Pro & the BGVP DMG at the exact same time. The DMG's are easily the most likeable of the two straight out of the box for most people but the P4 Pro's will also have its fans with those who gravitate towards a flat response. To this day, these are easily the most comfortable iem's I own. It's like they were custom made the fit is so good. Add to it that they also provide the best passive noise cancellation of any of the in ears I own. It's those 2 factors that make me call these my main day to day in ears although I do rotate through several other pairs of in ears & headphones. They are light & not bulky. The provided cable, while not the best, makes them perfect for travel. The sound profile is very neutral. I don't feel that I'm getting any editorialization with them. They sound very much like a studio monitoring headphone & I could actually see them being used in that capacity. The base is extended & fairly quick but it's definitely not overblown or the strongest. The mids are upfront & present with good detail. The upper frequencies also have good detail & sense of space without being overblown. If you are a multimedia type of person, these may be a good choice as they seem especially suited for movies, shows, podcasts & live performances. What I will say on the less positive side of things is that these are not the most musical. They can be tough on non-acoustic types of music. If your lane is acoustic music like jazz, classical or vocals, you may find the P4 Pro to your liking. I also don't feel that they liked to be pushed too hard. Keep them at a reasonable volume & they can be wonderful. Push them too hard & the sound can become brittle. Dynamics also suffer. What also needs to be mentioned is that these took far longer to break in compared to other headphones that I own. They needed about 200 hours on them before I got a true sense of their nature. The midrange was there out of the box but they showed great improvement in both the bass & treble as the hours were put in. The bass became stronger & more extended & an anomaly that seemed to be in the 4KHz to 7KHz went away & a little bit of extension to the treble was added. What was curious about the burn in process is that I found that just letting them go straight through was not the best process. Letting them play for 12 hours & then off for a bit before continuing seemed to be more effective. Go figure...….. So what I've found is while they're not the best iem's that I own, they are the most neutral & the most comfortable. I trust what they're telling me about what's going on upstream without adding much of any character of their own as long as you don't push them too hard. I'm giving them 5 stars due to price although my real rating would probably be about 4.5 stars. I can't really speak to the current durability concerns except to say that it seems to be a consistent problem with a lot of chi-fi iem's when they become popular & enter into second & third production runs in order to meet demand. QC seems to always suffer...….

Negative experience
I received a defective unit. They make a background noise every time a play an audio, and that noise lingers for 15 to 30 seconds after I pause the audio. Huge disappointment.

Nice sound quality, poor fit and finish.
Fantastic sound for the price, but the logo on one of the monitors started to separate from the body of the monitor. I reached out to MassDrop and was sent another pair. Shortly after receiving the replacements, one of the monitors started to have the same problem. I love the sound quality, so I didn't try to get a refund, but I'm very disappointed. I'm not the only one who has had this problem, and I had this problem twice. I think I'm done buying through Drop, at least until their quality is a bit better.

Well, I'm not holding Drop responsible for the quality of this particular pair of IEMs, but this feedback keeps coming up on this model and Drop keeps sourcing these same IEMs. Eventually, wouldn't you expect them to say "Hey, fix this or we won't have another drop for them."? I haven't noticed a degradation in sound, but I have noticed that I keep getting beard hair caught in the gap. It's uncomfortable, and I'm not sure that I should have to deal with it. I understand that these aren't fashion statements; thank you for assuming that I didn't though.

IucharbiusI got a pair of these int he Mystery Drop and I'm experiencing the same issue, with the flat logo portion separating from the rest of the body. I thought I was handling these really carefully too!

As others have said, these have great mids and highs, and decent bass with the right tips. The build also appeared to be good on first inspection. However, after waiting months for them (they were my Christmas present), and owning them for only a month and two weeks (received on Feb 2), and having used them less than 10 times in total, having never dropped them, handled them roughly or stored or moved them without their case, after taking the headphones out of their case a couple days ago, the black logo plate portion of one of the headphones has begun splitting from the rest of the headphone body. This is completely unacceptable and one of the worst build failure I have ever seen in a pair of headphones. When I contacted Massdrop they told me that since it was outside of the 30 day return window, and since they tell me these have NO manufacturer warranty whatsoever (what!?!) they could do nothing for me. I would not recommend these headphones to anyone who plans on using them for more than a month. While the build appears to be good, the attachment of the black portion of the body to the rest of the clear acrylic structure was done extremely poorly and deteriorated simply sitting in its case. This is unacceptable for any headphones, especially ones that cost nearly 100$. My Final e3000 cost less than half as much, for example, but have lasted almost 8 times as long as these have with no issues. Extremely disappointed in Tehnz build quality and Massdrop support. Not to mention that out of two headphones I have bought from Massdrop, (these and the Hifiman He-4XX), both have had serious build quality issues. I love the concept of Massdrop but they need to do a much better job on quality control for their headphones.

MoonshakeWhy do I have to go into reviews to be informed that there is virtually no warranty for the product. WTF is wrong with DROP?
