Limited to 88 pieces so what’s with the numbers on the dial at this price point I would be looking at hamilton with the H movements I’d have more confidence in hamiltons quality and they look better or even ball watches
Unfortunately the general public just buy a watch because it stands out and is a "conversation piece" and the market forces deliver these. I'm probably more averse to this than most people because all my watches in my collection are daily wearable, so dont have any "special occasion" or "evening" watches.
This is too outlandish to wear daily, eventually the design will annoy you.
It is really difficult for me to get excited about yet another chrono sporting a Valjoux 7750 movement, but at this price, it's a good deal.
As for the looks, the point of the watch is art, and I like it. There are 2 fonts being used, verbage is kept to an absolute minimum. The hands are unique, and the red and tan faces are particularly pleasing to me. I also really like the pushers, which remind me of old school mechanical stop watches.
TheTufnelAs they say - to each their own, so if you like it, pull the trigger. But one thing this is not is a good value - you can pick up Glycine Combat Chrono or Victorinox Alpnach for half the price or Maurice Lacroix Pontos chrono for the same money with 200m wr.
GregnormanIf you seen them in person they are sweet looking. I have to say some of the colors are ugly but to each there own. Every likes different stuff
I actually dig how it looks. But I guess I'm just not hip enough to know this brand, or why I should pay this much?
It seems there are a lot of pricey watches on (mash)Drop lately. So I guess they are getting traction with them. But I am just here for stuff that is cheaper than I can get elsewhere, or just plain oddball.
