When Tex Designs originally released the Yoda TrackPoint mechanical keyboard, it revolutionized the way we think of (arguably) the two most important components of our desktop setup. Now Tex Designs is back with the second iteration of the keyboard, the Yoda TrackPoint II mechanical keyboard kit. An elegant 60% layout, the kit comes with a TrackPoint right in the center, letting you navigate and type through the same mechanical interface. Combined with the integrated USB hub on the back of the keyboard, the Yoda TrackPoint II is the optimal keyboard for the anyone in search of a streamlined desk. This time around, the keyboard comes in a kit.
Easier to Configure Than Ever
For the second version, Tex Designs created an HTML5 website and added DIP switches. On the website, you’ll find tons of configuration possibilities, ranging from different layouts (ANSI, ISO, DIY, etc.) to individual key assignments to mouse controls to macros. Easy to use and simple pleasing to look at thanks to a white, black, and red GUI, it even allows you to plug in multiple profiles—not to mention it’s compatible on PC or Mac.
