Absolutely wonderful product. Love the TrackPoint. I use this as my primary keyboard (and I own a lot of keyboards - Das, Happy Hacker, Realtek, Ultimate Hacking, and too many others.) The TrackPoint lets me work without removing my hands from the keyboard, and even when I wish it were a tenkeyless keyboard so I could have all the keys I use, having the TrackPoint more than makes up for it.

The keyboard: The build quality is excellent, I could not be happier with how well it's made. The layout options are not quite as flexible as I was hoping however it does offer a variety of options and comes with all the keycaps for various popular layouts including ISO. The machining on the case is very good and everything fits together and works perfectly.
The configuration tool: This tool is very bad. Not just hard to use, but broken in many ways. It is also web based and not open source. The vast majority of people who buy this keyboard are going to want to use the programmable features and it is almost impossible to do so. The site is full of bugs, including but not limited to: account creation doesn't work when providing an email, some keys can't be selected with the configuration tool, if you don't create an account there is no way to go backwards from a working layout into the configuration to make a small change.
The chief problem with this tool is the fact that it is closed source and web based. If TEX vanished tomorrow, there would be no way to update the config on your keyboard, making it a fixed layout, just like any other board. In addition, all of the problems listed above could be fixed by the community if the source was available and accepted PRs. In it's current state I worry I've bought a keyboard that will be a $300 paperweight in a year because the configuration tool will no longer be available.
Related, but not exactly a problem with the site is that you need another keyboard to change the configuration if you have a very custom layout. The current workflow is to create a .TEX file download from the website, flip a switch on your keyboard, and then access it as a disk to transfer the configuration. The keyboard does work in a basic sense but if for example you use a custom layout like Dvorak, you would have a hard time. I admit there may be a workaround for this that I'm not aware of. I didn't play with it too extensively.
Conclusion: This is a great keyboard which is almost completely ruined by a bad business decision. I would not recommend buying one unless TEX changes their mind and open sources their code or you are happy with the default layout.
