Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Probably needs some burn-in but the treble seems a bit tight out of the box. The volume is there, but it's almost as if the drummer taped a tiny cotton ball on smaller crashes and splashes. (I think some people prefer this) Other than that, a nice sound for meaty horns and bassier strings with good seperation. Offers plenty of that beefy backbone for baritone sax, contrabass, trombones, etc... Would be nice have some sparkle on the other end for balance but at these prices, who is complaining? More of a bass forward slide than a V shape. My first massdrop purchase. Picked up three different colored 5's for a family of four figuring one person might give theirs up... not happening.
