So I actually got these off of Amazon because I had a $25 gift card, so it was a bit cheaper and came in 2 days, and I actually had a different experience than a lotta reviews. My current IEM's are Soundmagic E50s, and they're like $35 on Amazon, and I love them - they're flat (which I like because I produce and do a lotta mixing) and their treble is really nice and crisp. The T2's are extremely comfortable wearing them and they isolate quite a bit of sound which I thought was very surprising since I thought they just kinda sat on your ear rather than jamming them in like typical ear buds or peasant IEM's.
When I first listened to a track with the T2's, I was really surprised because the bass was super strong, and most of all, in a bad way, the treble was super mushy. I opened up one of my projects on Ableton, and where I had open hats and hi-hats, on the E50s they were clear and separated, but with the T2's it just sounded like a mush of white noise. Listening to other tracks (that are better mastered and have more creative synths), I thought that the bass was too loud and the treble was just too quiet and mushy and unclear, even with an EQ to lower the bass... Which is why I returned these and will just continue using the E50s :) It's just my opinion that I like flat monitors, I used to CRAVE bass when I used to only listen to music. But after getting the Soundmagics, I really started to enjoy being able to hear every single sound in a track.

UrbanrdgYeah I listened to music on my phone (iphone SE) at first - in my opinion it was horrible and still had very mushy and unclear highs and had waay too much bass for my liking. I switched to my DAC/AMP (Fiio e10k) and it was a bit better but the highs and overall sound quality was nowhere near as clear as my current IEM's. Obviously people like different things but it just wasn't clean enough for me ://
