Listening to TFZ king, Ltd now, on my first song or two.
The build is solid. The ear pieces are really attractive. Using the largest ear tips gives me the best seal, so no need to ransack my bin of ear tips for a better fit. Luckily, the ear pieces fit in my ear is comfy and doesn't feel heavy or unbalanced.
The 2 pin cable is really nice. Their are 4x strands for each ear. they meet at the y- join, then it becomes 8 strands, interwoven together. The cable is very flexible. The use a very attractive metal aluminum 3.5in plug. I've spent more than $20-30 for comparable after market upgrade cables.
My very initial impression is that the sound is really good. Thanks to the good seal, I get a lot of bass. The mids are clear and vocals well presented. The treble is all very detail, but its not harsh. I wouldn't call it v-shaped since I don't think the treble is overly emphasized. More bass than i would think you would get versus flat frequency response curve.
So far a pretty enjoyable listening experience.
I do have TFZ Galaxy T2. I think the King Ltd offers a more detail, more clarity and a maybe a bit more bass. Otherwise the sound signature is pretty similar. The King LTD offers a much nicer stock cable and is definitely more attractive. For me, both models are very comfortable in my ear. The accessory ear tips and carry case pouch are the same for both models.
Can the TFZ T2 be called the best All-Rounder IEM below the $ 60 price range? Is it said to be feasible? T2 Galaxy pair with LTD Cable can improve the sound quality?
