What are these, Pyrex? Does not feel like resin IEMs like the TFZ Essence. Pretty heavy, but good fit and good sound. Handles everything from Blind Boy Fuller to Hawkwind to VNV Nation
Like I said, it seemed to lean a little high so I only use them amped and bass boosted, the Live 3 has more bass standalone but less detail in general. They're a bit heavy for use on walkabout anyway. The sound of my footfalls resonating through IEMs is annoying enough, but with something as heavy as the Kings you can feel it bouncing a bit.
saintentreriI see, you used your Helm DB12 AMP to amplify the King RS bass. That make sense, I've not own any AMP/DAC but I'm planning to get one in the future. I guess the Live 3 is better option for all is situation usage granted that it is alot cheaper to run(no amp needed) and don't have to worry about it falling off as it can be replaced at affordable price. It's interesting for you to mention about the footfalls resonating through IEMs. I'll keep that in mind.Though most of the time I use IEM only when I'm in stationary. As I prefer to have better awareness of my surrounding when walking. Thanks again, that should clear my thoughts for now, I really lean towards buying the King RS...I really like the way it looks and sound wise prolly gonna get it amped. Thanks again Sir Saintenteri.. I appreciate your time and effort. You're very kind to give me some useful feedbacks.Takecare and Have a nice day!
