Great for the price, my new travel IEMs.
I love these for most genres, and because they are so affordable I don't mind being rough with them and just tossing them in my bag. Looks great, doesn't feel cheap, and they are fun to listen to. As for actual monitoring, I think I'd spend a little more for a more balanced sound. Ironically, these are great for listening to live albums.

Stay for the bass?
I'm docking a star because I MUST EQ the high end for the TFZ Live 1 to be listenable and that's unfortunate. I used this example in the Discussions tab also, but in Run for Your Life ft La Chat by clipping., there is this static sounding "chk" noise used as a clap or hi-hat and without EQ tweaking, it makes me wince every time it occurs.
The reason they still get a 4 out of 5 is because they have bass like the TFZ No.3 for half the cost. The low end is extremely pleasing. Once I found my sweet spot for treble reduction, I was happily listening for hours.
Typically I'd go through my sound test playlist here and talk about some of what I heard naturally but since I'm using an equalizer to change them to my needs, I'll just stick to what I already wrote above on the treble and bass. The clarity seems fine and the imaging is also fine.
The (no mic) cable they come with is the same as the TFZ No.3 and seems nice enough for budget IEMs. The TFZ Live 1 is lightweight and is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. Also if it matters, the little jewel looks to be placed into an indentation on the outside of the faceplates rather than underneath. I expect to lose those eventually. Overall, I enjoy the color and aesthetics of my pair.
I listened to them with my Schiit Stack (Modi 3/Loki/Magni 3 on low gain) and with a FiiO μBTR + my iPhone.
I recommend them if you're fine with EQ'ing, otherwise that high end is murderous to my ears.

Love the sound and comfort
I can wear them all day without any discomfort. Phone calls, MS Team Zoom Minutes are crisp and clear. For music it has a lovely sound, perfect balance for Deep House and Techno.

great cable, unique sound signature, bad driver flex, perhaps niche audience
looks:
do you want to be the glammest princess at the tea party? hell yeah, you know you do. the cupcake-frosting-pink version is spectacularly glittertastic, and the white cable perfectly accentuates the bedazzled buds. my 6 year old niece is going to be hella jelly. looks get a very non-sarcastic A. (seriously, they're fabulous.)
fit:
what i've come to expect from TFZ: reasonably comfortable, very easy to find a good seal. the silicone tips are a little stiff, and may become uncomfortable for extended listening sessions, but not horribly so. cable fit around the ear is also super comfortable and unobtrusive. of note: these buds have MAJOR DRIVER FLEX. no matter how careful i am, i cannot insert them into my ears without hearing that horrible crinkle. is it a big deal? only time will tell if they become distorted. B- mainly due to the driver flex.
accessories:
all you get is a cable, but said cable is *awesome*. why KZ can't include a cable this good with their $50 iems is beyond me. no other accessories other than 7 pairs of tips -- not even a cloth carry pouch, shame -- but in this price range, that cable is enough to earn them an B+.
sound:
(note: i only use the included silicone eartips for sound impressions. also, i am not an audiophile.)
the sound of these is, in a word, confusing. based on their looks, i assumed they would be tuned for casual listening: warm, probably with rolled off treble, and a lot of bass bleeding into the mids. turns out, they may be the exact opposite of that. the treble seems quite accentuated, even slightly fatiguing, but thankfully it is not sibilant. bass is present, and resolves and extends surprisingly well, but for my preferences is too recessed. i think i might actually want *more* bass bleed into the mids, because as it is, the vocals seem a little too forward and shouty without it. none of this is to say it's an inherently bad sound signature, it's just not what i expected. i may update my rating after a couple weeks of listening, but for now sound gets a B-. (if they were overly sibilant or had muddy bass, i'd give them a C- and a hard pass; luckily, they are still competent, just not my personal preference.)
value:
tough call here. on one hand, they're super cheap and come with a fantastic cable. on the other hand, really bad driver flex, and a sound signature that may not appeal to some. especially since their appearance is obviously aimed at a particular consumer demographic, i'm surprised they weren't tuned to be more crowd-pleaser-y (ie, warm/bassy). it's entirely possible they would be receptive to equalization, but out of the box they are a little top heavy and shouty. with a lot of competition in the sub-$50 pool, the TFZ Live 1 certainly stands out as unique, but perhaps not in the best ways. not a bad addition to a collection (i have no regrets about my purchase), but not sure i would recommend them as a one-and-done or daily listener, especially with stiff competition from BLON and KZ. B.
overall:
tentative recommendation to collectors and people not sensitive to shouty treble. reluctant pass for folks looking for a one-and-done.

They are inexpensive <cheap> and you get what you pay for. I was hoping for a decent tune but they are just harsh and shouty...not the worst I've heard but I have several that are leagues better at this price point so they just won't get much eartime

Great all around
Sounds good, super cute and sparkly, snug fit, decent seal for noise cancelling, and good price! The only reason I docked a point is the driver crinkles super loudly when putting them in, but still totally worth it.

Decent sound for <$40
Included tips are a bit too large for me even with the smallest size, but these sound good enough and can hold their own against other similarly priced IEMs.
