Edit 12/1/16: This review is for the Series 3.
I received these about 2 days ago, burned them in for around 24-36 hours (burn in phone kept dying, so I'm not entirely sure on the exact number).
The accessories are good, with an over ear wire guide and S, M, and L size eartips, as well as a foam pair and a set of double flange tips. Neither the foam or double flange tips fit in my ears, so i was relegated to the small size rubber tips, which seal pretty well, but don't offer a ton of sound isolation. They also come with some clips and a cable tie, which I have yet to use.
The cable looks good, with a cool looking braid with a plastic sheathing. It transfers very little movement noise, and is a decently high quality cable. It points up and is supposed to loop over the ear when in use, and it works pretty well, and with the added ear loops which route the cable through them, they stay out of the way quite nicely. Only time will tell on the durability, but I would be willing to bet that the cable will hold up pretty well with normal wear and tear. The only thing that would make it better would be if the cables were detachable, although for this price, I'm willing to give up a few things.
I tried them out before the burn in, and I didn't like them at all. The bass was muddy and over exaggerated, and sounded an awful lot like some really cheap J-Lab's I bought many years go. I was ready to write these off, but I figured I would hold the final verdict until I had burned them in for a while, as I've seen some pretty big changes after a decent burn in period.
After the burn in, these seemed to have broken out of their shell. The mids are still slightly recessed, but the bass has sat back a little, and cleaned up considerably, to the point where I would have mistaken these for completely different IEMs. While they definitely don't have a flat sound signature, it is a fun sound, with punchy bass, recessed mids, and enjoyable, non harsh highs. You get all of the details of the song you're listening to, with a fun spin on everything.
They sound really good for the price, and will be my primary mobile headphones for the foreseeable future. Definitely recommended for the $50 i paid for them.
Feel free to ask questions.

mylightersideThe ones I got were the series 3. I assume the Series 3s is the second generation of the series 3, but I haven't been able to find out much about them. On the TFZ website, they are in the same category on the about page, so I don't think there will be a huge difference, although for $10, if you can get over the whole pink thing, it might be worth a shot.

billy12347How is the microphonics? I had a pair of Etymotic hf5's and they were so awful.

ripsterarmy99It's got a nice braided cable, so the microphonics are minimal. Unless you're playing your music really quiet, or you're really whacking the cable, you shouldn't notice them.
