kltp567Sort of, those are optional guides for wearing the wire over your ear. Wearing it this way generally helps prevent microphonics, the sound traveling through the cable from you bumping it against things(zippers, or whatever else that might knock into it), shirt clips also help with this.

Just wondering if this pair of IEMs have an inline control box to be used to control volume, track number, play/pause, etc... I couldn't tell by the images that massdrop included.

Ravmyster1121No. Just super fat sounding, firm, fitting comfortable in-ear monitors/earphones. You can probably get the controller as a separate stand-alone product somewhere though.

this is my first purchase on Massdrop :) I like this information: Frequency response: 6 Hz – 30 kHz I had those before from Aiwa headphones but then Sony bought the company and stop selling them. I hope these TFZ are as good as the Aiwa.
