Anyone have any experience with these? I'm intrigued, but suspicious of top-heaviness with the beer glasses. Would also love to hear about build quality.
CANiSLAYuAhh. Wonder if that'd really be necessary. The static pics don't show this at all. Seems the air between the glass layers would be kept cool enough. If you flip it to freeze tho...that's gonna be top-heavy for sure, until the liquid melts.
I MIGHT consider these for whiskey, altho I actually prefer to add a splash of HOT water to bring out the aromatics, but not for beer. I don't drink the cheap watery junk that has no flavor to start with, so serving 10-20 degrees too cold is important so your taste buds freeze...ergo, no expectation of tasting everything. But not at the price, and not with, again, good whisk(e)y. The bowl here's a terrible shape if you actually want to, you know, TASTE your booze.
