I'm buying this, IF someone can answer me this question: How long will this thing last?
Months? Years? Decades? Roughly how long compared to an average pen or pencil will this last?

thethirdtwinI bought mine from the last drop. Honestly with it's "re-honing" potential it's going to last years with everyday use. It's my opinion only but keep in mind it would require maintenance over time to keep the tip with a fine to medium line width. As you write with it the tip does deform as you would see with any graphite pencil of today but that is simply pressure deformation and not a "use of material deformation".
