...it seems like the questions of how long the tip lasts might not actually be your worry if you get one of these. You'd probably not use it long enough to be concerned with it dulling. To sum up some of the reviews:
- It writes very light (See the sample picture in the description. Even close up it looks very light) - You have to press very hard which can cause the paper to tear. - The movement across paper is very rough. It isn't a ballpoint pen after all. One reviewer said think chalk on a driveway. - One reviewer mentioned it doesn't write on paper with any gloss. - It might not smudge under your hand but moisture apparently can erase it. - The tip contains lead. Stated in the description but kinda buried in there IMO.
I don't own one of these but the reviews just don't look that good. Sort of a cool novelty but unless you carry around a pad all the time to jot writings down I just don't see it replacing a plain old normal pen.
