A couple of questions: 1. Are the credit cards secure in this wallet?............is there something stopping them from falling out, even if there are only a couple of cards in it? 2. Concerning the band or clip option, will one hold the bills more securely, especially after time? I mught prefer the clip (less bulky?), but am concerned that the band may stretch out after awhile

werekongI have a ridge wallet from a few years ago and I think I can answer your questions. (PSA, I think I have a slightly older version as the money clip seems to have changed)
1). After using this wallet daily for something like 2.5 to 3.5 years I have not had a single card fall out of the wallet. The elastic holding the metal together secures the cards in place quite well, and even after years of use I can still put a single card in the wallet, turn it upside down and shake it and have it not fall out. With a larger amount of cards and constant shaking upside-down, the cards will gradually slide to about a 1/4th of the way exposed, but that is under very unrealistic conditions with elastic that isn't quiet as elasticy as it used to be (if it every becomes a problem, their website states they offer a lifetime warranty now).
2). I find the clip to be more aesthetically pleasing and durable. While I can not directly comment on the longevity of either as the clip has changed over the years, my money clip is like day one and I would imagine there are more issues you could run into with the elastic as time goes on unless you take great care of it. The one pro of the elastic that I could see is the potential of it being easier to get money into it.

werekong1. as long as you dont overload the shit out of it nothing should fall out 2. i have a band version and its kind of a pain to fold the bills so i usually only carry a single bill with me just in case but the band is replaceable

werekongI've had my ridge wallet for over 2 years. I chose the elastic band because it is easily replaceable and more slim vs the clip. I've never hard a card fall out and I have never felt like bills were loose under the strap. I absolutely recommend the ridge wallet 100%. You will not regret buying one.

ShatterPointsThanks for the input, but I want a wallet as thin & compact as possible, so I'm going with the Big Skinny Wallet.
