Loving the my new carbon fiber w/ clip. One unfortunate thing about it is that I have an RFID badge for work that I would keep in my old wallet. I'd just flash the wallet on the pad and go. But with the Ridge, it obviously blocks the signal, requiring me to keep the badge in the money clip. Clearly didn't think that one through, but keeping it in the clip is not a big deal and works great.

neverfoxI keep my ID badge on the outside of my cards, and just slide it out halfway to scan it. That works too.

WeirdGI tried that at first, but it would never activate the door unless I slid it very far out. That was just too slow and too much of a risk that I'd drop cards all over the place. Glad that works for you though.

neverfoxThat sucks... I guess each card works differently.

neverfoxHow's the carbon fiber? Is it durable? Is there gloss over it to protect it? Thinking of getting that or titanium

SegaGen3sisIt's been durable so far, but I'm also kid gloves with stuff. And yes, it's finished smooth with some coating.

neverfoxThat's good! Does it scratch pretty easily?

SegaGen3sisThat's really what I was referring to about durability, so no scratches so far. Can't say what would happen if I took a knife to it. ;) I don't tend to keep my keys in the same pocket either.

neverfoxOh ok. Well now my decision just got harder lol. The carbon looks really damn nice. Also glad it has holded up well. Really appreciate your quick responses.
... Also one more thing, if it isn't too much to ask. Would you mind uploading a few photos in good lighting? ☺️. Can't really find anything on the internet that really show this wallet after a couple of months of use. Thanks in advance for your help!

neverfoxI'm not much of a front wallet type of guy. So idk how this wallet would feel in your back pocket. Seems to bulky. Also I tend to have both of my pockets full 95% of the time. Keys and phone usually take up the pockets naturally.

As you can see, it's quite a bit smaller than a standard billfold. If you wear it in your back pocket, it should overall less bulky. On the other hand, it will also be less flexible (as in not at all). I should point out too that, upon closer inspection, there are some very light scratches on the carbon surface, if that's a concern you have, though I imagine titanium would be even worse. Ti is a scratch magnet, in my experience.

neverfoxThanks for providing some pictures man!
Damn, looks slick as hell! I may end up going with the aluminum or waiting and buying the carbon fiber next drop.
I thought about the front pocket and I just cant do it. Living in GA almost anything in your front pockets sucks in the heat and humidity. Right now I have the ezgo wallet (the plastic one). It's nice and all but not very elegant or professional looking. But it does everything I would want in a wallet anyhow.
