Just a warning to prospective buyers. This will not work with the retina macbook pro. The hinge space is too narrow for it to be comfortably used. With the older MBPs though it works amazingly.

j.hoHi j.ho, James here, Roost maker. Sounds like you had a Kickstarter Roost, we've since updated the laptop catch tabs, shaving off a ten thousandth of an inch of thickness with the laser. These new tabs fit 15" MBPr great. Shoot me an email at sales@therooststand.com, I'll get you new tabs posthaste.

RoostinEmailed, many thanks! All, I've had quite a number of these laptop stand things, and apart from the tab thickness (now fixed, yay!) the roost I must say is my favorite. Perfect height and angle for desk work.
