EfuzzmanEI agree, the Jungle Blanket is fantastic and very light. I love mine. Warm and packs down small. Massdrop sold them for a while. I am not sure they are still available.

54” x 66” ...
... is small for ANY purpose, other than a throw, and you don’t need treated canvas and quilted twill for that! Then too, FOUR POUNDS for a SMALL blanket! Good grief, you can get a medium-weight queen wool blanket for that weight. You know, one that 2 people can *actually* use.
If you want a blanket, buy at least a twin (66” x 90”), and if you want some weathproofing, use a lightweight groundsheet. Even in wool, you’ll be lighter and better off in every way.

Any update on these? I got an empty tracking number, but shipping was expected last week with no real news.

"At 4.5 by 5.5 feet, the blanket has more than enough room for two people and their gear. " er if they were hobbits maybe.

I would recommend reading the comments on the Kickstarter, as it seems that shipping fulfillment, and communication were major problems with Seasons Mfg, up through April of this year: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/seasonsmfg/seasons-blanket-waterproof-comfortable-built-to-la/comments

MichaelSTThis is ridiculous. They offer $20 flat rate international when ordering directly with the company. Something smells off here

Minimum dimensions of 6 ft X 5 ft. This blanket is not good any smaller as it would not even be big enough for a bivy. Also too heavy, and the shipping? Woof!!! Does no one ever look at the item cost / shipping cost ratio? There have to be better options.

BthePMy youngest daughter married a Canadian and moved up there from Florida. She likes to order things and have them mailed to me so I can send them to her. I told her to stop doing that because the mailing costs are not just outrageous but ridiculously expensive.
