The drop ended 30th July and there is no indication of shipping yet - for two strips of tea strainers. Why doesn't Massdrop take supplies commitment from the vendor before issuing a drop? Basically take an estimation of how many items are readily available with vendor and then schedule the drop with shipping time estimation in the description, so that those who want to commit are well aware and can judge whether the wait is worth their time.
Hey Guy,
We contacted the vendor on the status of shipment and are awaiting on their response. As soon as we here back from them we will update the group.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/21 or sooner if something comes up.

My tea will get cold by then.
Hey Guys,
We spoke to the vendor and these are scheduled to ship at latest early next week, but the vendor is working hard to have all the orders packed and dropped off for shipment by the end of this week. We will stay in contact with them and update the group accordingly.
Thanks for your patience and expect an update from us on 8/18 or sooner if something comes up.

Hey everyone,
We’ve submitted our order for Teastick shortly after the drop ended.
Now that the order has been placed, our vendor is preparing it for shipment. In the meantime, we will also be getting our warehouse ready to handle the reshipment of the product to everyone as soon as it arrives.
Expect an update on Wednesday or sooner if something comes up.
Cheers!

The leaves can't unfurl, and scooping with it would break the dry leaves. And it doesn't how fine the mesh/holes are, you're still going to get some sediment, you get it with tea bags as well. I have been drinking tea for a very long time and if you want simple, get a teavana or adagio or equivalent infuser that you drop onto your mug and it pours from the bottom

I love the design, but I can't help but think that this is not going to brew a good cup of tea. Even regular mesh tea-balls are not great at brewing because they don't give the tea enough room to move around. This thing confines the leaves completely.

shadowdude777You're completely right. This is just bad design by people who don't drink tea much. For a regular cup, a really big strainer that fits it is much better and less expensive. But whatever, this thing does look good though.

drdickinsonThanks for sharing, I noticed that the site isn't the most user friendly, but I found it on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Swissmar-T4632-Tea-Scoop-Infuser/dp/B002MKOSEU

andySorry, I bought mine from their bricks and mortar store in Australia. Didn't realise their site was such a pain!
