Does anyone remember how much this keyboard sold around for the previous drops? What price range can I expect for the next drop?

GeorgeD29I remember someone on reddit mentioning ~$180 for the cheapest configuration for the second drop. It probably won't change much for the third one if at all.

GeorgeD29I'd like to add by saying the $180 configuration was for the bare bones kit (I think), meaning you would need to buy the key caps and key switches on your own.

PotatoTMAh ok, and I think I remember reading somewhere that switches need to be soldered onto the board. Is this also the case or is it as simple as popping the key caps into place?

GeorgeD29If you buy the DIY kit, it comes with switches and LEDs that you need to solder yourself (price varies depending on the switch type)
You can also buy it assembled, but it will cost an additional $20 compared to the DIY kit. In this case everything will be soldered for you so all you need to do is plug it in.

PotatoTMDo you know which option was the more reliable of the two? I've read of people having problems with both the pre-assembled and the DIY kits, but some say the DIY kits had more defects/missing parts and others said some of the assembled versions were a bit badly assembled. I'm wondering which is the safer choice..

LazerAs far as receiving all the parts I'm sure either one would be fine, although technically the assembled version would be safer since they test it to make sure it works before shipping it.
