I notice that this board/kit is cited as being LED compatible and the DIY/Assembled version comes with white LEDs. Would it be possible to configure (or mod perhaps, with the new Cherry MX RGB LED backlighting? Is there a reason such an option isn't present here?
Thanks.
I'm planning on doing sip socket mod myself so led are hot swappable. Its a cheaper route and quicker route. I don't plan on swapping leds all the time so its a nice alternative. The down side is the colors are limited to a few colors unlike V70.
tldr: its way too expensive and time consuming to make it work. Do sip sockets if you want variation of colors.
