I just received my True Fox unassembled with 65g linear Zealios in the mail today. I was originally assigned to the second batch but I do not think that that matters any longer.
I may attempt to sell or return it. Not sure yet as I have not opened the box.

rodgepodgeI ordered a TrueFox with 65g Zealios and an Aria with 67g Zealios within the first few minutes of the drop going live, no tracking number yet. I suspect the reason that someone from the 2nd batch got their TrueFox with Zealios before me is because Massdrop is too cheap to pay for separate shipping (even though I 'paid' for shipping twice).
Massdrop offers *terrible* customer service because they can. Where else are you going to buy a WhiteFox or any other MD exclusive? I strongly suspect they give optimistic fulfilment dates to lure in buyers. They also do slimy things like group buys for products, with several months wait, that are available immediately at other retailers at the same or even lower price (ex. Nixeus Moda V2 TKL Mechanical Keyboard, available on Amazon for same price).
Designers like Matt3o have no real alternative to Massdrop. Can you imagine trying to run a GB this big from your house? The reality is Massdrop has us by the short and curlies; things won't change because they have no incentive.
I'm sure Yanbo, Peter, and the rest are nice people. The deception and indifference are likely company policy.
Some good has come from this. It made me reflect, and realize that my keyboard hobby has degraded into rampant consumerism. I'm cutting way back on group buys, and from Massdrop entirely.

Meanwhile I'm enjoying my stopgap board so much, I'm just as likely to cancel @ this point.. I mean, All novelty is gone at this point.. Plus nothing but issues. I've not seen ONE board posted that has good looking keycaps.. Not a damn one.

n__dlesI notice that you don't have a "Participant" star next to your post here and that worries me. Not sure if it is a system glitch, or did your order get dropped? Can you check your Transactions page just in case?

theimmcPeople who have their purchases set to "hidden" or "not shown" will not have the star beside their name. This is probably the case for them.

rodgepodgeI'm happy for you, don't get me wrong, but on some level it enrages me. I was quite early in the first batch, but I didn't even get any shipping notification yet. I assume that I'll be in the last shipment.
They really should have done their PR in handling this disaster slightly better.

kv55From what I can deduce, there's only one batch left to ship out from the Manufacturer's location. I ordered early on the first day and have yet to see my order go past "placed with the vendor", so I share your disappointment.
I'm excited about the keyboard itself, though!
