I had my up arrow not working. This evening I took mine apart and found out that the key itself is not soldered onto the PCB

breitling88Yep. I'm still miffed. I paid for assembly precisely because I didn't want to deal with soldering yet here I am. I'll be following up with Massdrop regarding this, if it had gone to a normal user it would have been an RMA. I just love how the board has a test passed sticker on it.

TDicksonTotally agree. Just because you can change the oil and fuel filter in your car doesn't mean you want to buy one that doesn't have it installed.

TDicksonExcellent sleuthing, TDickson. Sorry you had to disassemble your fully assembled board to resolve the problem. In a way, I'm not surprised this happened because manufacturing an entire keyboard in bulk likely was a problem with which Matteo hadn't dealt before. One has to start somewhere.
