OMG why does this old version keep coming up
  • Supports USB eSATA Transfer Speeds up to 3.0 Gbps (this is SATA 2 last gen half the speed of SATA 3)
  • Supports USB 2.0 Transfer Speeds up to 480 Mbps last gen 1/10th the speed of USB 3.0 (if u want to use an SSD it will be slowed way down)

  • But if that does not matter to you then go ahead and get it.

Completely agree. I understand Massdrop isn't as technically sophisticated as the main online shops but this unit is either out of date or the data is misleading and from posts below likely incorrect (assuming they are shipping the USB 3.0 version).
