Say I put a drive with an OS installed in this station. Could I plug this station into my laptop which already has a drive with Win10 and then boot to the drive in station? I guess the question is, is this thing bootable?

FrizleVia eSATA if your eSATA controller is the intel one or if it's bookable yes. Otherwise no windows won't boot off USB unless it's like a Windows to Go or whatever they call it drive but you could just as easily use a flash drive for that.
